Our story
We are a disparate group of football supporters :-
Bradford City - Scott, Paul, Jason, Nick, Andy, Mack, Maddy and Ewan
Manchester City - Alicia
Leeds United - Mark
We have all been profoundly moved by the courage of those suffering MND and wish to do all we can to raise as much as we can for this amazing charity. The plight of one of our captains, Stephen Darby, being particularly close to our hearts.
Several of us were involved with the first March of the Day in 2024 and we return with a larger team, to raise more money and more awareness of MND.
On 5th June 2026 we will be completing the Bradford City to Mirfield leg of the March, which will depart from Valley Parade and incorporate visits to the homes of the Bradford Bulls, Bradford Park Avenue, Brighouse Town, Batley Bulldogs and Dewsbury Rams before concluding at Mirfield, a total distance of 22.62 miles.
50 donations of £22.62, £1 per mile, will take us beyond our target but every penny will assist a most worthy cause.
