My story

Hi Everyone.
I, with a couple of my mates, am going to cycle over 200 miles to every single food bank in Cornwall, plus a quick spin over the Tamar (Who doesn’t like a bridge?) to visit Tavistock Foodbank in Devon… all in one day. Now I know I’ve got previous for this sort of thing, but this is different. This is by far and away the furthest I will have ridden in one hit, it’s nearly twice my longest day on the Lands End John ’O’Groats trip, and that was a decade ago! We’re talking about getting on a bike London and cycling to Manchester…Or popping from Truro to Exeter Ikea for meatballs and riding back home, then going down Falmouth for pint after. Oh and it's hilly too, more climbing than cycling over Mont Blanc, the Alps highest Peak! It’s a long bloody way and it’s going to hurt!
My route will be starting at Truro Foodbank and stopping along the way at food banks in; St Austell, Liskeard, Saltash, over the Tamar Bridge and up to Tavistock, before heading back to Cornwall and on to Callington, Launceston, Wadebridge, Helston and Falmouth/Penryn, before finishing back where it all began in Truro. See the full Strava route here - strava.com/routes/2718446088813974188
I can only list 5 food banks to donate to on here, so sorry to the ones I’ve missed out, but if it’s not listed here and/or, if you want to donate to your local foodbank elsewhere in the country please visit the Trussell Trust website for details- trusselltrust.org/get-help/find-a-foodbank/
Thanks for taking the time to read this and many thanks for your donations. Small amounts really do go far and every little helps.

Thank you for checking out my page. Making a donation is fast, easy and secure thanks to Give as you Live Donate. They'll take your donation and pass it onto Truro Foodbank, St Austell Foodbank, Launceston Foodbank Ltd, Helston & Lizard Foodbank and Penryn & Falmouth Foodbank.
