The Great North Run

I’m running the great north run in support of Pathways 4 All, a North East charity that provides invaluable support to children with disabilities and additional needs, along with their families. This incredible organisation runs a specialist activity centre that offers a safe, inclusive space where children can play, learn, and thrive, something many families struggle to find elsewhere.
For many of the families Pathways supports, everyday activities that others might take for granted, like going to a soft play centre or socialising with others, can be incredibly difficult. Pathways 4 All helps break down those barriers, offering not only fun and accessible facilities but also a strong sense of community and understanding.
I chose to run for Pathways because I believe every child deserves the chance to enjoy their childhood in a space where they feel accepted and supported.  By taking on this challenge, I hope to raise both awareness and vital funds to help keep the centre running and expand its reach. Every donation, no matter how small, can make a meaningful difference. Thank you for supporting me—and this wonderful cause
