My story
In collaboration with our Women's Rugby Society, we are running a charity match for Leslie Jones, who sadly died in September 2025. Kim, his daughter, is a member of both societies, and this is a chance for all of us to come together to raise money for Alzheimer's Society on her behalf.
Les was known by many of our members and always loved to listen to Kim talk about the sports, and even mentioned his own skills on the pitch once or twice. He volunteered many times to play for us if we were low on numbers, and it's only right that we dedicate this event to him and his daughter in the hopes that it may help someone else and their family.
