Why I’m Running for DEBRA and BEING the Difference for EB

This year,  I am taking part, along with my colleagues at The Langham London, in Santa in the City, a 4.5km festive run through the heart of London, dressed as Santa! But this isn’t just about having fun - it’s about making a real difference for people living with Epidermolysis Bullosa (EB).

EB, often called butterfly skin, is a rare genetic condition that causes the skin to blister and tear from the slightest touch. Those affected live with constant, severe pain, open wounds, and itching - there is currently no cure.

By running and fundraising with Team DEBRA, I’m helping to support vital research into new treatments and improving care for people with EB. Your support will help fund drug repurposing clinical trials and community programs that bring hope and relief to those living with this devastating condition.
