The Alpujarran Challenge 2016

212km walk across the Granada and Almeria Alpujarra from Lanjaron to Huercal de Almeria in 7 daily stages. 9th to 15th May 2016.
I am an NF1 victim inspired to do this challenge by the plight of Dillon Chapman who suffered so much he chose to have his leg amputated at the age of 12 which prompted a BBC Programme about his story. NF1 affects 1 in 3000 people and varies in intensity. It took 20 years of suffering before I was diagnosed and more needs to be known to prevent others from suffering and helping sufferers in the future. I will walk through the pain that I have learned to live with for 30 years at the age of 51 to benefit others.
