Holloway Masjid is raising money for The Holloway Mosque

My story

Assalamualaikum

As part of our refurbishment project,
the masjid are looking to install a fully functioning sound system. Currently the Masjid has a very poor system which proves troublesome, day in day out.

Also, We would like to start construction for the second floor to have it ready in time for Ramadhan. In Sha Allah.

We urge our brothers and sisters to support us in raising for this new system which will aid in the daily salawaat and regular lectures the masjid hosts.

Those who (in charity) spend of their goods by night and by day, in secret and in public, have their reward with their Lord: on them shall be no fear, nor shall they grieve.
(Qur'an, 2:274)

It was narrated from Abu Hurayrah (may Allaah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allaah (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said: Allaah said: Spend, O son of Adam, and I shall spend on you.

Narrated by al-Bukhaari, 5073; Muslim, 993.

It was narrated from Abu Hurayrah (may Allaah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said: ?There is no day on which the people get up but two angels come down and one of them says, ?O Allaah, give in compensation to the one who spends (in charity), and the other says, O Allaah, destroy the one who withholds.

Narrated by al-Bukhaari, 1374; Muslim, 1010
