The Fairytale of Newquay — Ultra Edition (aka: What On Earth Have I Signed Up For?)
Alright, shellmates… it’s happening.
This Saturday, this little gremlin is attempting her first ever ultra. Yes, an ultra. As in: farther than anyone with a functioning sense of self-preservation should willingly run. I’m absolutely bricking it, I won’t lie — but there’s one thing that’s going to drag my salty carcass along that coastline:

I’m doing it for Fetcherdog.
The place where my two chaos goblins came from. The place that pulls dogs out of the worst situations and gives them the soft beds, warm food and endless cuddles they should’ve always had.

Fetcherdog is trying to buy its own premises — a real, permanent home for dogs who’ve never had one. And if there’s ever been a cause worth wrecking my legs for, it’s that.
Even £1 buys a dog its Christmas dinner.
One single shiny pound = a full tummy for a pup who’s had a rough start.

So if you can spare anything at all, this gremlin will be forever grateful — and I promise I will drag myself every mile of this ridiculous adventure knowing that each step is helping Fetcherdog get closer to a home of their own.
