Thomas and Graces' 3 peaks challenge

Sarah Gale is raising money for Cheshire Wildlife Trust and Marine Conservation Society

My story

Inspired by Uncle Tim, we have been doing our own 3 peak challenge this summer. We aim to climb three mountains - the first Grace (age 6) and Thomas (age 8) have ever climbed - and raise some money to help wildlife.

We made it! Three mountains this summer. The clouds lifted just before we got to the top of Model Famau, so we got the view as a bonus. Next year Everest. We'll definitely need to take our jumpers.

So far we have climbed Conwy mountain (800 foot and 7.5 miles) and Caer Caradoc (Church Stretton, 1500 foot and also about 7.5 miles). Caer Caradoc was steeper than expected, but the views were worth it. Fingers crossed the weather is ok tomorrow to climb Moel Famau
