NCTJ Staff Fundraising is raising money for National Council For The Training Of Journalists
Event date: 4th August 2018
On Saturday, 4 August, the Read family, Sky and other supporters will be joining the NCTJ in Essex for a 15km sponsored walk to raise money for the Thomas Read bursary.
The Thomas Read bursary was set up in the memory of the young Sky Sports News journalist Thomas Read, who died unexpectedly in 2015, aged 25. Thomas was an inspirational young journalist who, in spite of his cerebral palsy, achieved a substantial amount in the field of journalism in a short space of time.
Please support this very worthy cause to help people with disabilities train to be journalists.
For more information about the Thomas Read bursary please visit http://www.thomasread.org/about.html
For more information about the walk, please contact cecilia.judmann@nctj.com
