Through the night and through the mud

WHAT: - The Maverick Exposure Lights Dark Oxfordshire 2023 ( 11 km night run on the 02/12) - Grim Challenge (8 mile mud run on 03/12)

Total = 14.84 miles in a 24 hour period

WHY: Yellow doors is a local charity where I am at uni, they provide support to people who have experienced domestic abuse, sexual assault and rape and their work has been invaluable in the community I reside in.

I have decided to run the night challenge to highlight the importance of showing strength in dark times.

I then will be running the 8 mile mud challenge the next morning because no matter how thick the mud or challenging the journey is you can make it through.

The Lotus flower blooms from the mud, out of the darkness and radiates into the world. We all have the potential to be a Lotus regardless of what life throws at us!
