My story
I'm taking on Tough Mudder to raise money for TDAS, where I work.
Working at TDAS has shown me just how much courage it takes for someone to ask for help and start rebuilding their life after domestic abuse. It's a privilege to be part of a team that supports people through some of the hardest times they'll ever face.
The mud, cold water and obstacles I'll be tackling are nothing compared to the challenges many of the people we support have overcome. If putting myself through a Tough Mudder helps raise money to keep those vital services going, then every bruise and sore muscle will be worth it.
If you're able to donate, no matter how much, I'd be incredibly grateful. Every penny will help TDAS continue providing safety, support and hope to people who need it most.
