Tracy's Brave Drop: Descending to Rise Against Domestic Abuse

Hi there! I'm Tracy, and I'm about to do something that will make my family and friends question my sanity—again. This time, it’s for a cause that’s incredibly close to my heart: ending domestic abuse.

Why Abseiling? Because Walking Down Stairs is Too Boring
I’ve always believed in taking bold steps, but this time, I’m taking it literally—by abseiling down a very tall building. Yes, you read that right. While some people run marathons or bake a thousand cookies, I’ve decided that dangling off the side of a building is the best way to draw attention to a cause that desperately needs it.

Why Domestic Abuse? Because Silence Isn’t Golden
Domestic abuse is a global issue affecting millions of people, often in silence. It's a subject that makes many uncomfortable, but it's one that we need to talk about. I’m passionate about supporting those affected and raising awareness to prevent future abuse. It’s time to bring this issue out of the shadows and into the light, one abseil at a time.

A Little Laughter on the Way Down
I know what you’re thinking—“Tracy, are you sure you’re ready for this?” Well, I have my helmet, my harness, and a sense of humour that’s more robust than my sense of balance. So, if you hear someone laughing nervously from a great height, that’s probably me, trying to remember that it’s all for a good cause.
