Event date: 17th July 2022
This page is raising money for Trafford Domestic Abuse Services
Join us on Sunday 17th July in Salford Quays as 8 members of the team at Trafford Domestic Abuse Services take part in the largest zipwire in the North West. Launching from the top of the Imperial War Museum fly along the 1000 foot zipwire, 100 feet over the water to land in the Media City Piazza.
All funds raised will go towards supporting Children and Young People who have experienced Domestic Abuse.
Children can experience both short and long term cognitive, behavioural and emotional effects as a result of witnessing domestic abuse. Each child will respond differently to trauma and some may be resilient and not exhibit any negative effects.
Children’s responses to the trauma of witnessing domestic abuse may vary according to a multitude of factors including, but not limited to, age, race, sex and stage of development. It is equally important to remember that these responses may also be caused by something other than witnessing domestic abuse.
TDAS have both one-to-one and group-based programmes that offer emotional support and education around domestic abuse and its impacts on children and young people.
Thank you for checking out our page. Making a donation is fast, easy and secure thanks to Give as you Live Donate. They'll take your donation and pass it onto Trafford Domestic Abuse Services.
