Good luck Jason and Lynsey. The memories of fun, laughter, challenges and love from Lola and Len will never fade
Jason Hanson is raising money for Boxer Dog Rescue Northern England
In January of 2020 we lost our beloved boxer dog Lola, who had been part of our lives for nearly 9 years since we rescued her. Then in April of this year we lost our wonderful boy Lenny who had also been part of our lives for nearly 9 years after rescuing him. Both dogs came from Boxer Dog Rescue Northern England (BDRNE) who undertake selfless and dedicated work on a daily basis, devoting their time to rescuing boxer dogs, fostering and then rehoming them with a loving family. Lynsey and I would like to give something back and raise some funds to help them to continue their wonderfully altruistic work and have been very kindly joined by Pauline, Paul, Catherine & Andrew, which represents committee members, fosterers and adopters!
Lenny and Lola's first home together was in Penistone, South Yorkshire and they arrived from Liverpool, so we are going to honour them by undertaking our own version of a triathlon totalling over 120km in 48 hours. Pauline & Paul Hayward will begin by Kayaking from Liverpool to Wigan on Friday 20th August. Catherine and Andrew Hankin will then take to the bikes cycling from Wigan to Stockport. On Saturday 21st, Lynsey and I will complete the final leg by walking from Stockport to Penistone completing the circa 120km trip.
We really appreciate any donations and thank you kindly in advance for supporting such a wonderful cause.

Thank you so much to all the wonderful people who donated. We have now completed the journey between us, and are humbled by the kindness of you all. It was a long and grueling experience for us all, but worth it to allow BDRNE to continue their great work. Thank you and much love from us all.
