My story
Hi, I’m Charlie Waters! In 2025, I’ll be running the Sheffield Half Marathon to raise funds for Trafford Youth for Christ, a charity close to my heart and where I have the privilege of working as a Youth and Schools Worker.
At TYFC we’re about seeing young peoples lives changed by Jesus and helping them to explore faith, develop life skills, and build brighter futures especially through schools work and youth groups.
As someone who grew up in Sheffield, it feels fitting to return to my hometown to take on this challenge for such a worthwhile cause. Running 13.1 miles isn’t just about crossing the finish line—it’s about creating real change for the young people we serve.
