My story
I'm running 10K on 22nd of September for a little older person's day centre called Millman Street. Why do I think you should sponsor me? Pure and simple this place is a gem. Friendly and inclusive the centre provides lunch, art and company for many older people in the area who would otherwise have nowhere to go, it's the heart of the elderly community.... and yet despite this their funding is being cut.
From trips and social visits to befrienders who call in on the most isolated of older people, this place is so important to the area, I hope it stays around until I myself am old, and with your help it will. If you donate just £10 the centre can pay for the cost of a hot dinner for four older people, so please donate £10 today.
