Vikki's 22-Mile Challenge for Trafford Domestic Abuse Services (TDAS)

I'm taking on a 22-mile walk to raise vital funds for the incredible Trafford Domestic Abuse Services (TDAS). This amazing charity provides a lifeline of safety and support to individuals and families affected by domestic abuse in Trafford.

TDAS offers crucial accommodation in their refuges and properties across the borough. In fact, they recently opened the first ever male refuge in Greater Manchester – a testament to their commitment to supporting all victims.

The reality is that each bed space provided by TDAS costs over £44,000 per year. This covers not only safe accommodation but also the essential support offered by their dedicated staff. With 37 bed spaces to maintain, the need for fundraising is significant – it's what literally keeps their refuge doors open.

Beyond their vital accommodation, TDAS offers a comprehensive range of services, including support for children, preventative work, training for professionals, and ongoing support to help victims heal and rebuild their lives.
