Virtual Mount Everest Trek!

THANK YOU to everyone who has supported this trek of 45 miles covering the distance AND altitude of Mount Everest from Lukla! In addition to donations via this site we have received others which - when Gift Aid is added - will take the total to just over £900 !! This is AMAZING and is great support for the palliative care project. Thank you from the project and the WNDT Trustees.

A massive THANK YOU to everyone who has donated. With the addition of donations received in other ways, our total is heading towards £500, which is fantastic! AND, with a WNDT Trustees walk of 14 miles yesterday I have now completed the trek in distance, so just have to add on the 5 miles 'climb'.... All your donations and support are much appreciated,

Thank you to everyone who has donated so far..... I am now over half way, though have added an extra 5 miles to distance so that I can allow for the actual height to the top! All the money raised will go towards the palliative care project which provides care and suport for patients and their families, as well as staff training, and research. Many thanks in anticipation of support.

The trek is progressing well and 'virtually' I have travelled from Lukla, through Namche Bazaar, and am now headed towards Tengboche Monastry. In reality so far the miles have been added by doing nearby walks, a Parkrun at Fountains Abbey, and two dance classes..... so it is all very varied....
