Vison 21 Everest Base Camp Challenge

My story
This year is the 60th anniversary of the first recognised climber to summit Everest - Edmund Hillary.
Trekking to Everest Base camp can never be descibed as easy. The trek is long and at high altitude, so it is important that we improve our fitness levels before the trek. We will be trekking for 12 consecutive days covering a distance of 120km. We have already started our training programme and can be seen at the weekends walking around the Welsh mountains.
We are paying all the cost of the trek ourselves and would like to raise as much as possible for two local charities.
