Walk, Run, Ride for Albania

For a number of years Ian and Karen Bright and a team have gone to Albania in the summer to help run football camps for the children in the villages, visit the orphanage running a programme of activities and take them out on day trips. The team visit the safe house for boys and girls and play games with the folk in the elderly people's home. They also help out in the surrounding villages.

Unfortunately, due to Covid the team were unable to visit last year and it is looking unlikely that a trip will go ahead this year. We feel we would like to still try and raise some money to send to Albania to help support them during this difficult time with the hope that as restrictions ease some projects will be able to go ahead.

The challenge will be to walk, run or ride during the month of April virtually to Albania and back. Visiting 20 countries on the way 7417.5km in total. A team of us will be trying to reach this target together.
