We bought Snow-Elsa from Fetcher Dog in April and she is such a sweet dog. Fetcher Dog are all about the dogs they rescue, and that's why I wanted to donate to them. Good luck with your target. x

Walk with me for Fetcher dog

Event dates: 1st April 2022 – 31st December 2022

Stephanie and friends are raising money for Fetcher Dog

Our story

I will be walking a 9K route around the beautiful village of Wye and the North downs national nature reserve.
I will have a couple of my friends and volunteers with me, currently that is Tracy Nichols and Sarah Benns and Paul Connor who is mapping the route Hopefully some more of you can join me. We will be setting off from The New Flying Horse in the village. Joe and Jane the Land lord and Land lady, have a lovely area we can meet, start and end the walk. where the dogs and us will have a cool shelter and also seating. We may even be able to shake a bucket or two and get some lovely locals involved. Including the lovely Jane from the pub. Not to mention having a cool drink, definitely after the walk. You can walk with us with or without dogs. Sarah and Tracy will be encouraging their friends to donate to the cause. If anyone would like to join us remember to create your campaign and tell your friends that you need their money. I hope you can join me. The date is set for Sunday 21st of August. Time to meet 12 Noon. I hope you can join me. I am not adverse to walking more than once so if anyone can't make that date, we can still walk on a different date if you would like to. If you don't want to walk, you can just meet us at the pub and wait for our return in a lovely pub garden. Its such a beautiful space.

Thank you for checking out our page. Making a donation is fast, easy and secure thanks to Give as you Live Donate. They'll take your donation and pass it onto Fetcher Dog.

Hi everyone, what a lovely day. We walked 9.012 km from The New Flying horse up the the Wye Downs, had a little sit down with the dogs and a drink of water. Headed to the kennels for a dog swap and back to the pub. The dogs were all so well behaved. We had little Toby from the Pub. Isaac and Cara on the way up and on the way down Hero, Taylor and Cooper joined in. Maya was our spokes dog at the pub. The dogs were so well behaved. Very proud to of them all. A big thank you to Jane who walked with us, Joe who supplied Pork and Beef for the dogs, plus refreshments, when we got back and the ladies that also walked with us. Linda and Johnlin. Plus our lovely volunteers Sarah and Paul. The dogs are sleepy. The ladies achy. But we did it. We haven't quite made our target. So if any one would like to donate, who hasn't already please help us to reach our goal. Thank you to all the staff at the New Flying Horse. The support from the staff and Joe and Jane was amazing. Unfortunately it appears summer holidays aren't the best date for supporters and adopters to take part. So was sad some of you couldn't make it to the pub.

Today is the day. Thank you everyone for your donations so far. Hopefully we will see a few of you at : The New Flying Horse at midday. To join us on our walk, or just to come and have a beer and support from there. We intend to start around 12.30. There is a carpark to the side of the pub that Joe and Jane are happy for us to use. Hopefully we won't get to lost but if we do , it will add to the fun. See you very soon. Keep donating and supporting, all proceeds go to the care of our wonderful rescue dogs.

Hi everyone, Thank you do those of you that are showing your support for the dogs. So far we have £130.00. For anyone taking part in our walk, here are a few guidelines.

If we can ask you all to bring :

  • A - Suitable footwear: Sensible shoes as we are going to be on some rough ground. (Walking shoes or boots.)
  • B - You may like to bring, a waterproof coat (and waterproof trousers?) in case of rain
  • C - Drinking water for you and your dog and something to put it in.
  • D - Personal medication. (If you have a medical condition that could affect you during the walk, let me know, in confidence. of any medical condition you may have that may affect you on the walk.
  • E- Suitable walking clothing, remember we don't know how hot it may be and you might need shoulders covered and your suntan lotion.

There wont be any toilets on the walk, only at the start middle and and end.

** IMPORTANT **

PLEASE DO NOT ATTEND IF YOU HAVE ANY COVID SYMPTOMS

We do take pictures on our walks for promotional and training purposes. If you do not wish to be in included, please let us know on the day.

Thank you for those of you taking part and joining us either on the walk or at the pub. We and the dogs are very grateful.

Hi guys, thank you to those of you that have donated so far. We are still away off of the target. I also need some confirmation on dates you may like to join the walk. If the weather is too hot, it will be without dogs, so will be more of a little hike and a social at the pub when we are back. If you cant walk that far or don't have the inclination too, you could just come and meet us before and after the walk and sit in the beautiful pub garden. Please let me know if anyone can make it and what date, so i can let Joe and Jane know, to expect dogs.
