Walking 100K in May

I'm taking part in the 100 Challenge, fundraising in honour of Captain Tom Moore.

I will become a virtual hero by walking 100K in May, starting on his 100th birthday on Thursday 30th April and raising money for London Titans Wheelchair Basketball Club. Like all UK sports clubs, all training and fixtures have been cancelled as well as much needed fundraising sessions. We want to increase the number of schools, charity, corporate and local community wheelchair basketball “come and have a go” and awareness-raising sessions we are able to offer to a rapidly growing demand for disability and inclusive, sporting events.

London Titans is aiming to increase the uptake of this exciting sport by both disabled and able-bodied children, young people and adults, promoting not only healthy activity but disrupting social isolation and positively challenging the myths and stereotypes about the capabilities of people with disabilities. In order for London Titans to achieve this goal, we would like to buy 10 new club sports chairs, (about £1000 each) to add to our existing stock to facilitate these opportunities.
