My story
On New Year’s Eve my dear wife Lynn passed away suddenly and unexpectedly. One of our great joys in life was walking together so on 19 May I will be completing the cross Morecambe Bay Walk with friends and family in her memory. We are raising funds for Tender Nursing Care, a wonderful small charity where I have been a Trustee for 15 years and which Lynn keenly supported. If you could spare a few pounds to sponsor my ageing legs that would be great! Thank you very much.

Hi everyone,
So I managed to complete the walk across the bay without resorting to a lift on the rescue tractor! Conditions were perfect and quite a few of the other Tender Nursing Care supporters also walked in memory of Lynn. Lucy, Rick and I have been overwhelmed by the kindness and generosity of so many friends, old and new, and family members. Between us our sponsors have donated almost £3,000 for Tender Nursing Care which is a fantastic sum for a great, small local charity. Lynn would have been delighted. Thank you so much, we are very grateful.
