Walking for chimps

Hey!!
So as many of you may already know Dom and I are walking the Camino de Santiago; 500 miles across the north of Spain during this summer. The walk will start the 5th of June, and we will arrive about a month after (hopefully). We will be more motivated in our walk knowing we are doing it for a good cause.
The charity we have chosen to fundraise for is Jane's Goodall institute, you can see a little description below. Chimpanzees have already disappeared from 4 African countries, and are nearing extinction in many others. Deforestation and commercial hunting for bushmeat are taking a terrible toll on most populations. This charity is non-profitable; all the money goes for sanctuaries where orphaned and injured chimps are taken care of and reintroduced to the wildlife. Most importantly, the Jane Goodall institute works towards raising awareness about the critical state of our environment. Due to higher demands from the ever increasing human population, deforestation in Africa (known as the lungs of the world) is currently twice as much as in the rest of the world with an estimated 10 million acres a year, leading to the loss of habitats and many species disappearing. This may not affect us directly but it is not looking good for the next generations. And that is why we have chosen this charity, everyone will benefit from it.
