Wendy's Way of the Roses cycle ride

September is pulmonary fibrosis awareness month and I am raising awareness of the disease by cycling from Morecambe to Bridlington in 3 days.  Any funds raised will be used to support people affected by this devastating condition in the Morecambe Bay area.  Alongside respiratory nurse Natalie Waddington I help to run the Morecambe Bay support group which was set up in memory of my mum who died from the disease in 2021 just 20 months after her diagnosis.  It is widely agreed that there should be more awareness and understanding of this life limiting disease which leads to increasing breathlessness and fatigue but has no cure.
