All the support is greatly needed for this terrible disease. We miss Gillian so much and would know for sure she would have taken part in this walk and she has done in the past to help raise funds to find the answer to a cure. Good luck Kate and the Whitley Bay Ladies Golfers. ♥️

Jane Cubbins is raising money for Motor Neurone Disease Association
My cousin, Paul, lived for 6 years with this terrible disease, passing away 2 years ago. This charity is very close to my heart, hence deciding to make MND my charity for the year.
Fundraising continues outside of this site, with raffles, quizzes and other fundraisers planned
Thank you for checking out my page. Making a donation is fast, easy and secure thanks to Give as you Live Donate. They'll take your donation and pass it onto Motor Neurone Disease Association.

We had a wonderful sunny day for our walk from Blyth Golf Club to Whitley Bay Golf Club on Friday, the sun shone down on us, and on the day we raised a fantastic £611 in cash. We all enjoyed our halfway house stop, with cakes and drinks, many thanks to all the bakers, and to Jane who allowed us to use her front garden, and made some delicious non-alcoholic cocktails! Once we arrived back at WBGC Harry talked us through a powerpoint and video about Mark Taylor, and we then had some interesting(!) spot prize questions.
Thank you so much to Dom for coming to start our walk off, and providing our MND T Shirts

I would like to thank all the members of Whitley Bay Golf Club for their generosity in supporting this incredibly worthwhile cause. We have a few more things planned before the end of my captaincy year, and hope to reach my new target of £7000, we have a charity walk between Blyth Golf Club and Whitley Bay Golf Club on Friday August 30th, plus another Bingo night in October. Momentum will also be visiting us again, with helpful hints and exercises to keep us fit for our golf throughout the winter months. Please join us if you can. Thank you all again! Jane
Your donations will help the great work Motor Neurone Disease Association do.
