My story
Hello!
I’m raising money for Trafford Domestic Abuse Services (TDAS).
Domestic abuse doesn’t always look how people expect it to, and it doesn’t affect just one type of person. The work TDAS carry out does not just improve the lives of individuals in crisis, but to the wider community as well.
TDAS offers support to both women and men by providing safe spaces, tailored group programmes, and specialist accommodation. Their inclusive and balanced approach stood out to me with the understanding that anyone can be a victim, and everyone deserves support.
TDAS doesn’t stop at crisis intervention — they also focus on prevention and education. They work hard to raise awareness and tackle the initial causes of abuse, not just the symptoms. By supporting TDAS, I want to also contribute to long-term change as well as helping people find immediate safety and support when they need it most.
