Will's London Marathon Fundraiser

In April 2027, I'll be taking on my biggest running challenge yet: the London Marathon. Despite spending plenty of my time playing sport and completing various endurance events, I've somehow managed to avoid running a marathon until now. Now that I'm in my 30s, it felt inevitable that I'd eventually give in and follow the trend. Running the London Marathon has always been on my bucket list, and having called London home for the past six years, the chance to run next year felt like the perfect opportunity.

I'm proud to be running for Lord's Taverners, a fantastic charity that empowers young people facing the challenges of disability, disadvantage and discrimination through sport and recreation. Their work helps thousands of children and young people develop confidence, independence and a sense of belonging.
 
As a lifelong cricket fan (albeit a fairly poor cricketer), supporting a charity with such strong ties to the game makes this challenge even more special. Any support, big or small, is hugely appreciated and will help Lord's Taverners continue their incredible work.
