Winter Appeal 25/26

Winter is the hardest time in Romania when you are poor. The temperature can fall to minus 15 degrees celsius especially when it snows. Families need to heat their homes, as well as provide food - it can be a struggle to find money for either. Many rely on stoves that use wood or anything they can find that burns. If there's no fire, there's no heat, there's no hot food. For some their water source is from a well. Its hard to imagine when you have central heating and running water.  
With your help, we can alleviate a little of the struggle by providing a bag or two of provisions - beans, rice, flour, a chicken, some cheese, oranges - some cake and something for the children to play with. In past years we've replaced worn household items like buckets and we've helped buy medicine and fix or replace appliances. Everything we do to help is a direct result of the generosity of our supporters. Last December we raised £1500 and helped 50 families.
