5 Peak Challenge

Well, in my insane bid to raise cash for the Wye PTA, I am undertaking the challenge of trekking 5 peaks, all in a distance of 22km and ascending over 5000ft, oh.. and in 10hrs.

In the Lake District, the Peaks (fells) are:

(1) Crinkle Crags, 815m
(2) Bow Fell, 902m
(3) Esk Pike, 885m
(4) Great End, 910m
(5) Scafell Pike, 978m

I've been training since Christmas most weekends (and days off) by hiking the North Downs (up and down 5 or 6 times in any one setting). Recently I walked from Canterbury to Wye (cross country - 16miles in 6 hours) - and I ache! But there is more to be done...

It's going to happen on the 17 April (weekend after Easter)
