Carers Trust and The Bath Philharmonia is raising money for Carers Trust and Bath Philharmonia
Love is Enough is a song specially recorded this Christmas by Sir Ed Davey and young carers. It was co-created by six young carers and former young carers with Bath Phil’s Creative Learning Team as a tribute to the caring responsibilities of young carers and the bond they share with the people they care for.

The young carers that made Love is Enough met with the Bath Philharmonia Young Carers’ Choir and, together with Ed Davey, recorded a single to release at Christmas. The song is in support of Carers Trust and Bath Philharmonia.
Ed Davey knows only too well the importance of supporting Young Carers at Christmas. He remembers singing in the church choir at Christmas whilst also caring for his mum who had cancer.
Speaking about recording the song, he said:
“When I heard the opening lyrics to Love is Enough – ‘every second we have left is worth a thousand others’ – they struck home and meant so much.”
You too can show your support for Young Carers this Christmas.

Life is challenging for young carers. Every day they are juggling schoolwork and childhood pressures with long hours caring for family members .
They might be helping a parent with a life-ending condition like cancer; or they could be helping to support a sibling with a condition like autism.
This can be hard at any time of year.
But at Christmas it is especially tough. Young carers’ responsibilities don’t suddenly stop. Many miss out on the magic of Christmas while their schoolfriends are out enjoying festive fun . We want to make sure every young carer is seen, supported and valued.
Carers Trust works to transform the lives of unpaid carers. We do this by giving help, support and information to carers. Your donation will be used to help us be there for young carers when they need it most.
Bath Philharmonia is committed to transforming lives through the joy of live orchestral music. Your donation will be used to support Bath Phil’s expert team of musicians to enable more young carers to create their own music.
