Kirsty Mitchell is raising money for Young At Heart
My story
I'm doing this for my daughter maisie and all the families with heart warriors. She has marfan syndrome and her heart is failing. She needs her 1st heart surgery soon followed by 1-2 more. She is an incredible happy 4 year old and takes everything in her stride!
Maisie was born with a genitic condition called marfan syndrome, its a connective tissue disorder that affects many parts of the body but the most servere is the heart. Maisie has aortic root dilation, mitral valve prolapse and tricuspid valve leak. All requiring surgery. She fights everyday with the challenges she faces and still smiles no matter what.
I hope to raisie my goal to support the amazing work everyone at young at heart do to help our tiny warriors!
