My story
I’m doing this for my heart warrior Archie and all the families at Young At Heart
At 30 weeks pregnant we found out our baby boy would be born with some heart problems VSD (ventricular septal defect) DORV (double outlet right ventricle) we knew that surgery was he only option
At 20 weeks old Archie had Open Heart Surgery. This was the scariest time of my life but the nurses and surgeons at BCH were amazing, and the support we received from YAH was INCREDIBLE. I still can’t believe within 6 days he was home. Our strong warrior.
He is now a talkative happy crazy 2 year old. He is the most amazing and polite boy who is growing everyday.
He wears his scar with pride
