Fundraising for Epilepsy
Event date: 19th March 2017
Zoe Bird is raising money for Epilepsy Action
My story
As some of you may or may not know, I am an epilepsy sufferer. It may not be a really severe case, but I've had to go through a hell of a lot, so imagine what it's like for those who suffer daily.
I've had many tests, medications, ambulance rides and trips to the hospital... for something that has no definite cure.
I have to take AEDs (Anti Epilepsy Drugs) every day of my life to keep my seizures under control.
I've had to put up with personal chauffeurs (BIG thanks to you guys!!) and having my licence revoked and having to reapply quite a few times; which took away my freedom.
It's quite frustrating having Epilepsy knowing it's out of your control to a certain extent.
My aim is to help gain control and contribute to fund for more researching/medication/tests - however we can to help, be it £5 or £500!
I am taking part in a 5km run on March 19th 2017, so any donations would be greatly appreciated and I'd like to say a big thanks to you all just for reading this!
Thank you for checking out my page. Making a donation is fast, easy and secure thanks to Give as you Live Donate. They'll take your donation and pass it onto Epilepsy Action.
