UP at the Superhero Triathlon - Summer 2026

Raising for Up - The Adult Cerebral Palsy Movement

This summer, some of our members will be taking part in the Superhero Triathlon at Dorney Lake to raise vital funds for UP – The Adult Cerebral Palsy Movement.

The Superhero Triathlon is the UK's only disability sports series dedicated to people with disabilities and long-term health conditions. It celebrates inclusion, determination, and teamwork, making it the perfect event to support adults living with cerebral palsy.

Adults with cerebral palsy often face barriers to healthcare, employment, fitness, and independent living. UP – The Adult Cerebral Palsy Movement works to change this by campaigning for better services, creating opportunities for connection, and ensuring that adults with Cerebral Palsy have a stronger voice.

Every donation helps UP continue its work supporting adults across the UK and driving positive change. Your donation, no matter the size, will help us reach our fundraising goal and make a real difference to adults living with cerebral palsy.

About us

Up - The Adult Cerebral Palsy Movement

Charity number: 1179458

Up - The Adult Cerebral Palsy Movement is a community-led charity designed to empower, inform and support adults who suffer from Cerebral Palsy. We are the only UK charity for adults with Cerebral Palsy.

Our aim is for all adults with Cerebral Palsy to live their best lives. Our movement is about positively making the changes in ourselves, and in society, so that we can live our best lives. It is rooted in our belief in our own power, standing up for ourselves and our rights, and combatting ignorance, prejudice and indifference.

Cerebral Palsy is a lifelong condition that affects 130,000 adults in the UK. It is a condition which develops associated co-morbidities during adulthood and demands specialist care pathways. However, co-ordinated and specialist services do not exist today for adults with Cerebral Palsy. This lack of support results in worse health outcomes and, lower education and employment participation for individuals.
