Jessica Ryan-Ndegwa is raising money for Up - The Adult Cerebral Palsy Movement
This August I'll be taking part in this year's 10th Anniversary Superhero Series Sprint Triathlon' in Dorney Lake, Windsor with my teammate Callum, raising money for UP -- The Adult Cerebral Palsy Movement.
I was born with Cerebral Palsy - which predominately affects my balance, co-ordination and short-term memory, but I've never let it hold me back or interfere with how I move through the world. For many of those with CP, accessing the right healthcare after the age of 18 is a challenge, as you are no longer under paediatric services, and support structures disappear. I'll be raising money for UP to help continue their work in supporting adults across the UK and helping drive positive change.
£500 is my current target that I'd love to see if we can smash! -- but I'd also love to see if we can raise as much funds for UP as possible, a brilliant charity that's so close to my heart.
A Big Thank You to those who give and I would love to see some familiar faces there on the 15th of August for an action-packed day!
Much love Jx
