14.3.26 - Today the weather picked up, so from our list of recommended walks, I chose to visit Albert Village Lake. It was a lovely 5.7 mile walk situated in the National Forest.
My total now stand at 8.7 miles covered, leaving 1.3 to go!

Anonymous young person,16, is raising money for Hypermobility Syndromes Association
The young person who is raising money was diagnosed with hypermobility disorder as a child and required a wheelchair, due to being limited in the distance he could walk. He would like to show how far he has come and would like to give back to others. He is looking to walk a total of 10 miles throughout the month of March to raise money for a relatable cause.

Today I began my challenge with one of the more ambitious walks on my list, the New woodland walk at Calke Abbey. This was a lovely, peaceful three-mile walk along the historic driveway and Tramway Trail of the Calke Abbey parkland. On my walk I saw lots and tress and various wild life. Next week looks promising with 7 miles left of my challenge, I just hope the weather warms up.
