12 Hour Circuit Event

Hi!! We’re SWC Fitness, a small gym located in Stone, Staffordshire and we’re running a non-stop 12 hour circuit event in aid of DEBRA.

We have recently had Poppy join classes along with her parents, Kim and Paul. Poppy is an incredibly courageous young lady who was born with dominant dystrophic epidermolysis bullosa, a rare condition affecting the skin. We are aiming to raise as much money as possible for the charity DEBRA, a charity that funds viral research and clinical trials to try and find a cure for Epidermolysis Bullosa (EB) - ‘the worst disease you have never heard of’. We see Poppy’s drive and determination and know that she is by no means defined by her EB. As said by her mum “she very much has a ‘can do’ stubborn attitude and won’t give up unless she physically can’t do something which is why you often see her in the gym doing what everyone else does!”

A small team of us will complete all 12 hours, coached by the gym owner. Each hour we invite people to join us to keep spirits high and momentum going. Alongside this we will have a coffee and cake sale and raffle with some beautiful prizes. All money raised on the day will go to charity.
