Andrew's Swansea Half for the WAST Charity

Hi all, 
I'm running the Swansea Half Marathon for the WAST Charity - Please donate! 

The Welsh Ambulance Service Charity is WAST's official NHS charity.  
As a registered charity, we collect donations from members of the public, including patients and their families, and use these funds for patient and staff benefit. 
We support WAST staff, volunteers and patients right across Wales, providing funding for projects that go beyond what's possible through statutory government funding.

What does the Charity do? 
Through charitable donations from staff; patients; the wider community; and charitable trusts and foundations, the Welsh Ambulance Service Charity can support WAST by providing:

• Funding towards our award-winning Wish Ambulance
• Funding for projects nominated by staff and volunteers through our Bids Panel
• Funding for projects that support staff with their health and wellbeing
• Staff bursaries for Continuing Professional Development (CPD)
• Funding towards supporting our volunteer teams
• Funding for large scale projects
