Arch Insurance Mount Toubkal Charity Trek

This September, 16 employees from across Arch Insurance here in the UK will be trekking up Mount Toubkal in the Atlas Mountains to help raise money for our wonderful charity partners: Insurance United Against Dementia and ShelterBox. 
 
The summit is over 4,100 meters above sea level and each member of the team is working hard to prepare both physically and mentally for the adventure as they encounter the effects of altitude and sharing tents on the mountain!
 
As many of you already know Insurance United Against Dementia is an industry movement created and championed by leaders across insurance, in partnership with Alzheimer’s Society, whose aim is to help and improve the lives of those living with dementia here in the UK, a staggering 900,000 people.
 
Shelterbox is a similarly amazing charity that provide international disaster relief and emergency shelter to support families devastated by natural disaster and conflict. From Cameroon to Syria, all the way to the Philippines and the Caribbean, ShelterBox has provided shelter to over 2.5 million people so far.
 
We hope you can help support our team of trekkers, and knowing you have our backs as we make our way up the mountain will give us an enormous lift, as well as providing much needed funds for these two incredibly deserving charities.
