Eddie O'Connor is raising money for Birmingham Irish Cycle Appeal
Hi everyone, I am taking on the challenge of cycling over 600 miles along the West Coast of Ireland in July 2026. I will be starting at Mizen Head in Cork on Friday 17th July 2026 to finish at Malin Head in Donegal on Friday 24th July. I will be cycling as part of the Birmingham Irish Association - an incredible voluntary organisation made up of amazing people who will endure the very best of the Wild Atlantic Way to raise funds for worthy causes.
This year i will be cycling for Maeve Fanning. Maeve is a 38-year-old mother of three young children who at Christmas 2024 was diagnosed with advanced, inoperable thymoma cancer, and was given less than two years to live. Despite limited success with NHS treatment, she courageously continued private treatment in London at a significant cost. With incredible strength and positivity, Maeve is determined to spend as much time as possible with her young family. Support would help her continue treatment and create many lasting memories with her children.
Please help me raise the vital funds needed to allow Maeve to continue with her treatment
