Bob Elliott's Great South Run 2022

I shall be running the 10-mile Great South Run on 16th October 2022. I'm raising funds for the Stable Family Home Trust (SFHT) which, based in Hampshire and Dorset, supports over 130 remarkable clients with learning disabilties and actively supports their full inclusion and participation in the community throughout their lifetimes. They are making a commitment to people who may depend on them for 10, 20, 30 years or more. SFHT provides support services in the shape of day activities, educational programmes and supported living, to ensure a life without any limits for people with a spectrum of disabilities. The clients' disabilities range through Down’s syndrome, severe autism, dyspraxia, bi-polar disorder, cerebral palsy with learning disability and hearing and vision impairments. In fact a number of the clients also have physical conditions such as heart problems, mobility issues and diabetes. I am pleased to be able to do what I can to raise funds for these amazing clients at this wonderful 42 year old charity.
