My story
Well this is a story I never thought I would write. Prior to August 2023, I had never even ran a mile, let alone thought about running 26 of them! Usually most comfortable within the the warm bosom of a yoga studio, the idea of running shook my chakras out of alignment! But in May 2023 after watching my husband, Rob complete a 75km race around the lake Windermere I was inspired (and maybe also a little bit drunk when I was asked) to take on the London marathon in same the year that I also turn 40.
I am fundraising for Lord Taverners. The charity provides innovative, inclusive, and impactful sports programmes, empowering young people with disabilities and from disadvantaged communities to overcome the challenges of inequality, raise their aspirations and reach their potential.
Please help support them by donating to my page!
