Charlotte Abseils 131ft for Upmo!

Have you ever wanted to see a dyspraxic with a fear of heights scale down the Port of Leith Distillery, the tallest distillery in Scotland? Do you believe they should raise lots of money for bravely conquering their fear? If you didn't before, I bet you do now.

I work for Upmo, a charity who support over 160 adults with learning disabilities and autism to make friends, learn skills and develop confidence through providing a range of creative, social, wellbeing and life skill-focused workshops. I recently stepped into the role of Curriculum Lead for our digital workshops, where our students make fantastic art, films, animations, photographs, 3D models and VR experiences.

However, much of our tech has aged to the point of unreliability, leading to our students facing daily barriers to producing the quality of project work they aspire to. And in the rapidly growing age of AI, tech is becoming more expensive to replace.

Our tech wishlist currently sits at a hefty £25,000, so I am taking action, taking the plunge and asking for your support to raise even a fraction of the funds needed to give our students the tools they deserve. Please donate generously - the more money we raise, the less excuse I have to chicken out of doing this :)
