I came across a story of a beautiful little girl called Darcie on Tik Tok who suffers with a condition called Epidermolysis Bullosa (EB) which is a group of rare inherited skin disorders that cause the skin and mucous membranes to be extremely fragile. Minor friction or trauma can lead to blistering and painful wounds. The condition varies in severity from mild blistering on the hands and feet to widespread, life-threatening skin damage.

Watching the videos that have been posted by Darcies parents to tell Darcies story touched me so much, that I made the quick decision that I wanted to do something to help! 

Darcie is such a amazing brave little soul, life it’s extremely difficult for her and she faces many day to day challenges that no child deserves to face, yet she manages to get through all these challenges daily with a smile on her face, she is such a inspiration to us all. 

Her parents provide exceptional care for their daughter, demonstrating remarkable dedication and resilience. Caring for Darcie is a full-time and highly demanding responsibility, yet they continue to support her tirelessly without complaint, remaining by her side every step of the way.

After reaching out to ask how I might be able to help, they kindly shared that any efforts to raise funds for a charity supporting children with (EB) would be greatly appreciated. This charity has provided invaluable support not only to Darcie, but to many other children and families affected by this condition

So with all that being said I am running the Royal Half park marathon on October 11th for the charity “Debra Uk” on behalf of little Darcie. My target is £500 but I know we can smash that annd raise much more for this amazing charity,  Any donations would be great appreciated.
