I have a image of myself at the top of the O2
Event date:
Paul Dexter is raising money for Up - The Adult Cerebral Palsy Movement
I have only been to the O2 for a gig once, in the interval I got up and left my seat, never to return. Fortunately I was able to have a seat lower down, (Peter Kay is so funny, esspcialy near the ground).
I have been a member of Up (a small charity for adults with Cerebral Palsy), for two and a half years and an Advocate for the charity from the beginning of the year. Up have taken me to places that have pushed my comfort zone, (large photo shoot in Parliament Square, meeting MPs and Lords in parliament, writing to my MP and meeting her. To be a cheerleader for those running in the London Marathon for Up
These are the tangible things. The health advice, the social aspect and regularly meeting with people with cp is very rewarding and a weekly high. I could continue but I need to get to the point.
I am climbing the O2! to raise fund for Up
