Cultural Style Week

You are invited to ‘Wear Your Heritage’ during Cultural Style Week and donate £1, so that we can support Refugee Action and Refugee Education UK who do great work to help displaced people.

Established in May 2022, the London-birthed Cultural Style Week event empowers migrants, displaced people, and their descendants living in diverse cities across the world, to celebrate and share their cultural diversity through fashion and personal style!

From 21-27 May, People from all over the world are encouraged to participate and take part wherever they are by proudly wearing their cultural styles across the week, and sharing their pictures online with the tag #culturalstyleweek to connect and share with others.

An important element of cultural style is about forging connections with heritage and ancestry. That’s why we felt an acute need to support those who have been uprooted from their homes and must now create new lives in a different country. Refugee Action and Refugee Education UK do amazing things to help people in these circumstances and we want to help them to do even more!

HOW TO GET INVOLVED
School and Corporate Participation
Pick a 'Cultural Style Day' during the week of 21-27 May and ask participants to donate a £1

Sponsored Participation
Pick a day or wear your cultural clothing across the week of 21-27 May, sharing your pictures online with the #CulturalStyleWeek . You can ask your networks to sponsor you participation by making a donation.

Events
