My story
Hi. Together with David Lloyd Ringwood and club members we are raising funds for The Stables Family Home Trust (sfht). The sfht supports adults with learning disabilities in Hampshire and Dorset. So, between 10am-3:30pm on the 7th August 2021 David Lloyd members are entering the Dragon Boat Charity Challenge at Poole Park. We are looking to have a crew of 20 paddlers that we will rotate over the events which are a fun experience rather than a completive race. We are hoping to raise £2.000.00 which will make such a difference to our friends at the sfht who have had a tough time over the pandemic . Please support us in supporting them. Thank you.

Hi. Well the day finally came yesterday, the weather forecast was awful but wasn't too bad on the day. Our team finished sixth out of thirteen which wasn't too shabby and all crew members had a great day. With donations made via the just give page together with gift aid and cash donations we are sat at just above £1600. A fantastic amount and just short of our target of £2000. Thank you to everyone that has made a donation to date and to those that donate in the next few days. Every pound you have donated will make a difference to our friends at the SFHT.
A big thank you to all the paddlers. You are amazing people with big big hearts.
