David Lloyd, Ringwood – Step Up For Stables
MILLION STEPS FOR MAY

The Stable Family Home Trust in Bisterne, Ringwood support people with learning disabilities in Dorset & Hampshire. People with a learning disability already face extreme levels of social isolation and loneliness and Covid-19 has only exacerbated this! The temporary closure of their day services, loss of routine, difficulties staying in touch with family and friends and keeping active has been difficult for their mental health and well-being. In fact, the whole charity operation had to radically change in order to survive with care staff and fundraising team working incredibly hard to keep things going. They now hope to re-open their Aspire day services in June and welcome everyone back and we want to do our part in the community by joining their ‘Step Up For Stables’ challenge and doing a MILLION STEPS FOR MAY to help raise funds.
